Each year over 200,000 children are sent to emergency rooms for playground-related injuries. While play equipment is intended to be challenging, it should never contain hazards that have the potential to cause serious injuries.

It is our role as playground operators to create safe, fun, and challenging playgrounds while eliminating playground hazards.  Implementation of a proactive playground safety program is critical to accomplish this goal.
