Description
The OSHA Standard for The Control of Hazardous Energy, or Lockout/Tagout, outlines specific action and procedures for addressing and controlling hazardous energy during the servicing and maintenance of machines and equipment. This 3-hour training offers a combination of classroom and hands-on practice for employees to understand how to shut down equipment, isolate it from the energy source, and prevent the release of hazardous energy. The course meets OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.147 training requirements for authorized and affected employees.

Audience:

• Public Works and Fire Department employees that are authorized users or affected employees exposure to Lockout/Tagout operations.
